And here we are in action( Kjartan bend over the stove on the left pic), it was yesterday night, in Stavanger, at a private house.30 peoples, 480 spoons to dress and give to the guests. Great atmosphere, it was for me the first big reception with the full menu Arrabiata. 16 courses from starters to desserts, the guests were extremely happy and me too !! Kjartan was really glad of our work, good organisation. it got a bit messy at the end though, i was driving the truck with two waitresses to catch the ferry back to the other side of the fjord on our way to Haugesund. we missed very closely the one at 1.00am, and then wait for the next one at 3.00am, inside the truck without being able to run the motor to get some heat, because we were one the reserve, what a pain !!

then, after i get the girls back to their home, i was in my bed at 5.00am, and i was suppose to be up a few hours after to empty the truck... But it went ok finally, and last night was really great, so... i'm really glad of this new job !! I post in the next blog some picture of the food and the team !!

Et nous voila en pleine action,(Kjartan , mon chef, est penché sur le fourneau, photo de gauche) c'était hier soir, à Stavanger, chez un particulier. 30 personnes, 480 cuillères à dresser et à mettre dans la bouche de nos chers invités. Il y avait une super ambiance, c'était pour moi la première grosse réception avec menu Arrabiata complet. 16 cuillères, de l'entrée au dessert, les invités étaient aux anges et moi aussi...!!! Mon chef était très content de notre travail en cuisine, bonne organisation. Ca s'est gâté un peu à la fin de la soirée, je repartais avec le camion et deux serveuses pour reprendre le ferry qui nous ramenais de l'autre coté du fjord pour retourné à Haugesund. Nous avons raté celui de 1 h du matin, donc attendu ce fichu ferry jusqu'à 3 h du mat', dans le camion, sans pouvoir trop faire tourner le moteur pour le chauffage car j'étais sur la réserve, quelle galère !! Du coup le temps de déposer les deux miss, j'étais au lit à 5 heures du mat', sachant que ce matin je devais venir débarrasser le camion youpii !!!
Enfin, ce n'était pas si terrible, et j'ai passé une très bonne soirée en cuisine. Je suis vraiment ravi de ce nouveau boulot !!
